Five years apart, he has been a key part of England’s T20 setup. After delivering in the T20 World Cup, Tymal Mills has impressed in Big Bash League (BBL) in lead up to the IPL 2022 Mega Auction next month.

‘Fingers crossed. I haven’t been to the IPL since I was first picked five years ago and that’s a long time,’ Mills said as quoted by DailyMail.
Injury has troubled Mills in his career. A congenital back condition turned into a T20 bowler at 22. He is selective of the tournaments that he takes part in order to manage his workload.
Tymal Mills picked 7 wickets in 4 matches for England during T20 World Cup. He followed it with 12 wickets in 7 games for Perth Scorchers in BBL. His economy rate stood at 8 & 7.35 in the competition.
The 29-year-old had played 5 T20s and scalped 5 wickets during his debut IPL season in 2017 despite getting the tag of a millionaire.
He is part of England’s squad touring the West Indies with an opportunity to continue his good work to ensure a decent contract in the second shot at IPL.
As many as 30 players have enrolled themselves for IPL 2022 Mega auction that misses big names Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, among others. However, the likes of Jonny Bairstow, Mark Wood, among others will be big names.
