Gujarat Titans vs Punjab Kings: Kagiso Rabada was again at his very best as Punjab Kings put on a fine bowling performance at the DY Patil Stadium. Having picked up four wickets in the last game against Lucknow, the South African followed it up with yet another four-fer, to derail Hardik Pandya and Co in a fine display on Tuesday.
Rabada struck first in the powerplay to send back the in-form Wriddhiman Saha, who tried to take the attack to the South African only to find Mayank Agarwal, who pocketed a safe catch. The speedster then returned in the final few overs to knock them over, first dismissing ice man Rahul Tewatia to dent any hopes of a grandstand finish for Hardik Pandya and Co.
Rashid Khan, who has showcased his range of hitting this IPL, was also sent back first ball as Rabada put Punjab right on top of the game. In his final over, the Proteas star dismissed Lockie Ferguson to bag his second successive four wicket haul in the tournament. The spell also put Rabada in contention for the Purple Cap, with the Punjab Kings star now having bagged 17 wickets in nine games.
