Devon Conway remained unbeaten on 85 off 55 balls to record his highest IPL score while Ruturaj Gaikwad managed 99 off 57. Thanks to their partnership, Chennai Super Kings posted 202/2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

However, before the CSK vs SRH match, Chennai Super Kings struggled with their opening pairs. With Devon Conway, Robin Uthappa and Ruturaj Gaikwad used as openers, CSK’s highest opening stand was 28 against Lucknow Super Giants.
