While many saw that coming in last IPL, the fans had hoped he would stay put at SRH. But his availability creates an interesting proposition. He is not only a successful captain, but he is also the most consistent batsman of IPL. With a batting average of 41.59, he is miles above than his nearest competitor. Considering that, he could be the first to breach the Rs 20 Cr mark.

Yuzvendra Chahal (Rs 2 Cr): An excellent leggie who has been consistent in IPL, Yuzvendra Chahal’s release from RCB surprised many. While RCB will once again target him, he will be the toast of IPL franchises in the two-day auction. He could end up being the costliest Indian spinner even though he is unlikely to break the Rs 20-Crore mark. Currently, Rashid Khan at 15 Crore is the costliest spinner.
Kagiso Rabada (Rs 2 Cr): It was a surprise that Delhi Capitals opted to release him. The South African fast bowler has been in great form and could be the highest-paid pacer.
