Rassie Van Der Dussen could be public enemy number one in India currently, after his scintillating performances in the recently concluded bilateral series against India, but that is also expected to fetch him a lucrative IPL contract. The 32-year-old batter from South Africa has played 34 T20I matches for the rainbow nation, in which he has scored 933 runs at an impressive average of 38.87 and has a strike rate of over 130. He has set a base price of INR 1 crore for himself.

- Maheesh Theekshana
After Muttiah Muralitharan and Ajantha Mendis, we could see another mystery spinner from Sri Lanka shining in the IPL in Maheesh Theekshana. At only 21 years of age, the off-spinner has picked up 6 ODI wickets and 9 T20I wickets for Sri Lanka, with his economy rate being under 4 runs per over in the ODIs and under 7 runs per over in the T20Is. Theekshana was a net bowler for Chennai Super Kings last season and could find himself a bid this time around. He has a base price of INR 50 lakhs.

- Devon Conway
Devon Conway made his T20I debut for New Zealand around a year ago, but he already has established himself as a key figure in the Blackcaps’ set-up with his impeccable consistency. In only 17 T20I innings, Conway has scored 602 runs at an average of over 50, which includes four half-centuries. The 30-year-old was a part of Southern Brave in the inaugural edition of The Hundred and could now start a new journey in the IPL. He has a base price of INR 1 crore.

- Daryl Mitchell
Conway’s New Zealand teammate, Daryl Mitchell could also earn his first ever IPL contract this season. The 30-year-old from Hamilton made a name for himself in the 2021 ICC T20I World Cup, where he played a few belligerent knocks while opening the innings for Kane Williamson’s team. He has scored 392 runs in 25 T20I matches and has also scalped 6 wickets in this format of the game. Mitchell has set a base price of INR 75 lakhs for himself.

- Romario Shepherd
Romario Shepherd had a fantastic 2021, as he nailed his place in the West Indies team and also showed his class in the 2021 Caribbean Premier League, where he was the second-highest wicket-taker with 18 scalps to his name. A player of many talents, Shepherd has scored 117 runs and has picked up 12 wickets in 14 T20I matches. The bidding for the 27-year-old will start at INR 75 lakhs.
