Hardik Pandya is a prolific all-rounder in the Indian cricket team. He has been performing consistently both in Internation cricket and in the IPL over the years for Mumbai Indians. However, in 2022 he was bought by the new franchise team Ahmedabad as the skipper of the side.
Pandya has been out of action from the national squad for quite some time after undergoing surgery and undergoing effective recovery and rehabilitation. Pandya, now fit is eager to make a comeback to the squad and perform well in the upcoming series against West Indies, followed by a major role in IPL 2022.
After a disastrous result at the hands of the Proteas in the India tour of South Africa, the Indian selectors will have a tough time in selecting the squad and the starting XI against the West Indies series.
