He completed his 6 days quarantine after arriving in the gulf country on September 6. Kane Williamson was adjudged as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad during the first leg of the tournament after the orange brigade performed poorly under David Warner’s captaincy. In the first phase of the tournament in India, Williamson was excellent with the bat. In the four matches, he smashed 128 runs and returned with the same batting average.

The Kane Williamson-led side is languishing at the bottom of the points table with just a solitary win in seven outings and would be hoping for some change in fortune with the change in venue. They will kick start their campaign against Delhi Capitals in Dubai on September 22.
