IPL 2021 Purple Cap – Most wickets in a single season by Indian bowler: With 32 wickets in 15 matches, Harshal Patel has also surpassed the previous record for most wickets in a single season held by an Indian bowler. Jasprit Bumrah had taken 27 wickets in the IPL 2020 edition in UAE.
