Most partnership runs this year in Men’s T20: Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad have amassed 695 runs together at an impressive average of 46.33 in the IPL this year. If they manage 42 more runs, the CSK opening duo will break Pakistan’s Babar Azam – Mohammad Rizwan’s record of most partnership runs this year in Men’s T20, i.e., 736 runs.
RCB skipper Virat Kohli and Devdutt Paddikkal too are on the list along with Delhi Capitals’ Shikhar Dhawan-Prithvi Shaw and Punjab Kings’ KL Rahul-Mayank Agarwal. Check out the list –

With 712 runs, Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw are second in the list & are just 25 runs away from breaking the record. Delhi Capitals can still play two games if they manage a win in Qualifier 2.
Most partnership runs in a season for CSK in IPL: Earlier, CSK opening duo of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis broke CSK’s most partnership runs in a season. Rutuaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis have amassed 695 runs so far in the season and still have one more game left to play. Earlier, Mike Hussey and Suresh Raina had the most partnership runs for CSK in an IPL season.
