ICC Champions Trophy Final tickets sold out in 2 hours

It’ll be a full house at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DICS) on March 9 as the tickets for the ICC Champions Trophy Final have been all sold out in just 2 hours. The tickets ranged from Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) 250 to 12,000 (Rs 5,925 to 284,420).

For the unaware, DICS has a seating capacity of 25,000. While matches in Pakistan haven’t seen a full house, including the ongoing semifinal in Lahore. The games played in Dubai have been crowded at maximum capacity. The reason, of course, is Team India fans.

All four matches, including the semifinal against Australia, have seen massive support for India. To see stars like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in action, people are going out of their way. Of the 12 different priced tickets that the ICC has released, all are sold out. Fans can try their luck at a physical outlet, the Box Office.

This isn’t the first time tickets for a match in the ICC Champions Trophy have sold out this quick. The India vs. Pakistan match was played in Dubai on February 23, and the tickets for the match were sold in under an hour. However, the tickets weren’t as expensive.
