Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah was initially part of the India vs England 3rd ODI squad, bringing relief to Indian fans who hoped he would be fit by then. However, his absence from the final squad has raised concerns about his availability for the Champions Trophy. India does not want to overburden their key pacer and may choose to rest him for the tournament, even if he regains fitness in time.

Virat Kohli

The India vs England 1st ODI brought unexpected news about Virat Kohli, revealing that he had suffered a strapping around his right knee, forcing him to opt out of the match. This has also led to speculation that he could miss the tournament if the injury is serious.

Ravindra Jadeja

With Varun Chakravarthy included in the squad, India now has four spinners at their disposal. They might opt to leave one out for the tournament. Jadeja could consider taking a rest and focusing on Test cricket. Despite being one of only seven players to have taken over 200 wickets in ODIs, his place in the team remains uncertain.
