Ravindra Jadeja is an important member of the Men in Blue squad. He played a key role in India’s 5-wicket win over Pakistan in India’s opening game of the Asia Cup 2022 tournament. However, he missed back-to-back games against Hong Kong and Pakistan with his troublesome injury.
The right knee injury has been a major concern for Jadeja in the past couple of months. After India tour of England, Jadeja experienced some discomfort in the ODI series against West Indies and rested for a couple of games to recover from his knee strain.

With the same injury troubling Jadeja again, the star Indian all-rounder decided to get it operated and thus will not make it in time to recover for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup scheduled to take place in Australia in October. Jadeja took to social media to post pictures post his surgery.

He wrote, “The surgery was successful. 🙌 There are many people to thank for their support and involvement – BCCI, my teammates, support staff, physios, doctors and the fans. I will start my rehab soon and try to get back to 🏏 soon as I can. Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes 🙏”
Injury concerns have troubled Jadeja this season. The Chennai Super Kings star missed a couple of games for CSK in the latter parts of IPL 2022 after having sustained a back injury. He was rested for the South Africa tour of India T20I series and recovered for the India tour of England series.
