As per information available with InsideSport, Rahul was supposed to exit the 7-day isolation in Bengaluru. But he is yet to test negative. Once he gets two negative test results, he will undergo a mandatory cardiovascular test.
“No, he is yet to recover from Covid. Once he does, he will be back at NCA to complete his rehab. There will obviously be a fitness test before the Asia Cup to understand his fitness. But as he was close to recovery, it should not be a problem. There are still three weeks left for him,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

Asia Cup & T20 World Cup Squad? It is obvious that team picked for the Asia Cup will almost be the same that will travel to Australia for the T20 World Cup in October-November.
The same set of players will also feature in the six T20I games against Australia and South Africa in September and October.
