“As you can see, there have been no changes to the XI in the four games here. So, I would like to give credit to Rahul sir. He gives a good opportunity to everyone because you can’t drop or include a player, or say that he is a good player, based on performance in one or two games. He has given all the players enough games to play, so you have a good opportunity to prove yourself,” Avesh Khan said after the 4th T20.

India Playing XI vs SA: Will Rahul Dravid make any changes to Playing XI?
- Ruturaj Gaikwad has been hot and cold but thanks to his half-century in 3rd T20, he will keep his place.
- As for Shreyas Iyer, he is a major concern but he is also one of the experienced batters in the middle order. With no like-for-like replacement, he too will get a go to prove himself.
- Another weaklink seemed to be Axar Patel, who could not perform to the expectation. But Rahul Dravid is expected to stick with him for Bengaluru T20.
- In bowling department, there will be no change barring any late injury or niggle as the unit has performed well under pressure.

As for other roles, captain Rishabh Pant has been under the scanner. He has far too often fallen into off-stump trap of Keshav Maharaj and the Bengaluru match will be his last chance to do something before the tough England series.
