Team India arrives in Bengaluru for IND vs NED game, Virat Kohli travels solo

India will take on Netherlands on Sunday in the final league-stage game before the World Cup semifinals.

India Cricket Team has arrived in Bengaluru ahead of the IND vs NED final league match of Cricket World Cup on Sunday. However, Virat Kohli travelled to his second home solo after leaving the team hotel on Sunday night. Having already qualified for semifinals, India vs Netherlands match will only be a formality and will be a chance to rest Jasprit Bumrah and a batter.

India crushed South Africa in the penultimate league game in Kolkata, bowling them out for 83 runs. With that, Rohit Sharma & Co cemented the top spot in the points table.

Focus on bench in IND vs NED

The IND vs NED game will only be a formality on the Diwali night. India have already confirmed while Netherlands will crash out by then.

However, for India Cricket Team, it will be an opportunity to test the bench and rotate some of the pacers at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Prasidh Krishna has joined as a replacement for Hardik Pandya while Shardul Thakur has warmed the bench.

Team India can bring in loccal boy Prasidh Krishna and Shardul Thakur, resting Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.

However, with a 6-day break before the IND vs NED game, India Cricket Team will enjoy two-day optional break in Bengaluru.

Head coach Rahul Dravid and vice-captain KL Rahul will head home while the rest will only appear for optional practice sessions.
