Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. had a torrid time in the ongoing IND W vs ENG W 2nd T20 as they recorded their third lowest total in T20 history. After being invited to have a bat first at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the Indian Women batting line-up fell like a pack of cards with Jemimah Rodrigues being the highest-run scorer after amassing 30 runs.

Earlier in the match, England skipper Heather Knight won the toss and opted to bowl first. None of the Indian batters even the skipper Harmanpreet Kaur could not much with the bat. Rodrigues played a valiant knock of 30 runs but she was also struggling with the timing.
“Good chance to be back in the team. With a bit of turn and pace, I was look to vary the pace and keep it tight. I was looking to get her out (Shafali) and come out driving and next ball I managed to skid it through. For me it is super important to back my best ball and with the conditions being spin favourable. it is all about trusting your stock ball and use the variations smartly,” said Charlie Dean during the mid-innings break.
