India head into the content having taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series with a 54-run win in the 1st T20. India did struggle with the bat. But they were excellent with the ball. India struggled to get going but a solid 71-run stand between Shweta Sehrawat and Soumya Tiwari helped India steady after early blues. Shafali Verma was dismissed for a golden duck. But Shweta scored 40 while an 11-ball 16-run knock from Richa Ghosh helped India post 137/5.
With the second T20I washed out, India could avoid a series defeat with a win on Sunday. India start as favourites despite being the away team as South Africa have some serious work to do.3
