Shikhar Dhawan Spends time in New York
On Saturday evening Shikhar Dhawan was spotted in NewYork as he spent time with friends as he was snapped in party mode. He was seen in fancy wear as he put up an Instagram quiz where he asked his fans to determine his location as he enjoyed his time.
In another story he was seen with his couple of friends as they too joined hands with the stand-in ODI skipper. Shikhar is often seen enjoying his time and is seen putting up Instagram posts from different locations.
Successful campaign against WestIndies
Shikhar Dhawan successfully guided Team India to a 3-0 series win against the WestIndies in the ODI format. Dhawan scored 97 runs in the opening ODI as his knock helped India register a narrow win. Also the India team was on full swing in the rest of the ODI sereis as they white washed the hosts.
Under the leadership of Dhawan, India has enjoyed a decent success as he also led the Indian team in Sri Lanka last year. Despite not being part of the T20 setup he continues to be am important part of the ODI setup.

Dhawan to lead India in Zimbabwe tour
Shikhar Dhawan will lead a youthful India side when they tour for 3 ODIs next month. Despite talks, senior players KL Rahul and Virat Kohli have been handed rest, while the likes of Rahul Tripathi and Washington Sundar have been named in the team.
The All India selection committee retained most of the squad from the West Indies ODIs for the tour of Zimbabwe next month. Shikhar Dhawan will continue to lead the side in the absence of regular stars for the three games.
