Dhawan & Co start new trend –
In a video posted on the Instagram account of Shikhar Dhawan, caoch Rahul Dravid was seen waving at the camera and joining the new ‘Hey’ trend. Shikhar was seen at the front while he was joined by other players like vice-captain Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj in the ‘Hey’ trend.
The Indian players are often seen enjoying their time away form the game and this was the perfect example of it. The bunch of Indian players arrived in West Indies as they took a charter flight from England.
Team India board Charter Flight-
Team India arrived in the Caribbean for a three-match ODI and 5-match T20 tour. The BCCI arranged a charter flight for the entire Shikhar Dhawan-led squad. Team will had it’s 1st Practice session yesterday. The 1st ODI game is scheduled for Friday. Those who have been rested from the ODIs including captain Rohit Sharma have gone on a short vacation
The 16-member ODI squad has been joined by Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill. The three were not part of the ODI series against England. They have assembled in Port of Spain in Trinidad & Tobago by Tuesday. The rest of the squad including the coaching staff comprising head coach Rahul Dravid will fly directly from Manchester on Tuesday.

India ready for the West Indies challenge
- The players have reached Trinidad & Tobago in a charter flight.
- They have been joined by Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson & Ruturaj Gaikwad.
- BCCI has gone the charter flight route to avoid any COVID-19 cases.
- Shikhar Dhawan will lead the ODI squad in Rohit Sharma’s absence.
- Two other captains, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah have also been rested while Bhuvneshwar Kumar continues to be a miss in the ODI squad.
- Ravindra Jadeja has been appointed as vice-captain for the ODI side
