The duo made their Test debut in the same match in 1996 and then went on to play in each other’s leadership. They have been part of the most memorable moments in Indian Cricket. Now, they are two big pillars of BCCI as President & India head coach.
Sourav Ganguly represented India in 424 matches out of which Rahul Dravid was part of 369 games. The two stalwarts have played 8 Tests and a couple of ODIs together at the same venue in Kolkata.
India and West Indies will lock horns in three T20Is beginning Wednesday. Rohit Sharma & Co will mark their first game in the build of the T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue look to ensure they have a balanced side in terms of both batting & bowling departments. Team India will also be looking to resolve their middle-order muddle as they look for the right combination with just a few months left for the T20I World Cup.
The focus will be on the brand of cricket India play, having witnessed disappointment in T20 World Cup 2021. The Men in Blue won the T20I series against New Zealand, but nothing changed in terms of approach. It would be interesting to see whether the Men in Blue try out something different.
