Nicholas Pooran scored his 3rd ODI half-century against India in a stunning 74 off just 77 balls on Sunday. Coming into bat after a mini collapse, Pooran steadied the ship alongside Shai Hope before turning on the accelerator. The left-hander took the attack to the spinners and hit six sixes in his 117-run partnership with Shai Hope.
The West Indies captain certainly enjoyed batting against India. Pooran had earlier in the year scored 3 consecutive half-centuries against India. Overall, he averages over 41 in both ODIs and T20Is against India, compared to his averages of 34 and 29 overall.
