Rohit Sharma set to for 1st T20
In a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on its official Twitter handle, Rohit was seen practicing in the nets. Rohit was seen working on the pull shots while he made use of the wrist to defend. Rohit was seen netting on both offside and onside as pace bowlers were at full swing.
Interestingly, there was no practice done on the spin bowlers as he focused on the pace bowlers which could be the need of the hour. WestIndies do have a fair amount of pace in them so Rohit was seen preparing for them.
Rohit and Dravid deliver team talk
Ahead of the first T20, coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma were seen giving valuable advises to the players. They both delivered a passionate team talk during the practice session as Dravid was seen giving 15 Minute lecture to the team on how to tackle Caribbean team in T20’s.

India aim for win in first T20
- With no KL Rahul, India have a vacant spot in the opening. Ishan Kishan is the designated backup opener. he is all set to get the nod.
- Ishan warmed the bench in the entire ODI series against West Indies.
- But it is the No 3 spot that is up for grabs. India have two players fighting for the spot in Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Hooda.
- While Shreyas Iyer has been excellent against West Indies, Hooda has been in tremendous form in T20s.
- Rohit Sharma and management will have to decide who they field in as there are places up for grabs in the series.
