Santosh Menon, KSCA secretary, has confirmed that the government has given a green signal for 50 per cent crowd amid the prevailing COVID situation. He expressed gratitude and ensured all the necessary protocols to conduct the event smoothly.
“It’s the Pink Ball Test and we are all ready to host it and will leave no stone unturned to make it successfully happen,” Menon told India Today.
The tickets for Bengaluru’s iconic Test would be available from March 1 on the KSCA website.
Offline tickets will also be available from March 6. The ticket prices range from Rs 100 to Rs 2500. The Test match is slated to kick start at 2 PM.
“KSCA is happy to inform that a historic Day/Night Test Match played with the Pink Ball will be hosted at M Chinnaswamy Stadium for the first time from 12-16 March 2022. The Day/Night Test Match will be played every day from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Hospitality Tickets (P-Corporate, Pavilion Terrace and P2 Stand) will not only have the best views of the grounds but will also include assigned seats and complimentary food coupons,” KSCA said in a statement.
India will play the first of the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka in Mohali. The first Test will be held behind closed doors which is also set to mark Virat Kohli’s 100th Test.
The second Test match will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
