Following the conclusion of the India vs Sri Lanka Test at Mohali, former India captain Virat Kohli gifted his jersey to one of his die-hard fans Dharmveer Pal. Pal, a specially-abled man is also known as the unofficial 12th man of the Indian team and travels alongside the national team for most matches across India and even on foreign tours at times. After the match got over, Kohli, before boarding the team bus, gifted Dharmveer his jersey as a special gesture. Watch the video here:

Kohli had a decent outing in the game and looked good while he batted before he was dismissed by a Lasith Embuldeniya delivery for 45. While he missed out on a 50 or a 100, he did go past the 8000-run mark in Tests becoming only the sixth Indian to the figure after Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Virender Sehwag.
Kohli also received a guard of honour when India took the field after their batting, while coach Rahul Dravid presented him a memento before the start of play to commemorate his achievement.
