Coming to bat at No.3 Kohli continued India’s high-scoring momentum to hit his 45th ODI century. He now has the most centuries against Sri Lanka and thereby EQUALS Sachin Tendulkar in scoring the most Centuries at home. Only Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of Kohli, who has 100 international hundreds against his name.

Virat Kohli has equalled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 20 century in India with this century. The 34-year-old also ended his hundred droughts at home before this he hit his last hundred in India in 2019 against Australia. Kohli scored his hundred in only 80 balls and entered the record books one more time. This was his 9th ODI hundred against Sri Lanka and now has the most tons against the Lankan Lions.
