India eyeing 350 or 400 run lead: With two days still left in the Test match, the tourists will be eying a big total close to 350-400 runs. They already have 146 runs lead and if manage to add 200-250 runs in the first two sessions they will have complete control of the Centurion Test.
“Two days are left in the Test match, I feel we should be batting the maximum amount of time tomorrow. If we score around 250 runs and set a target of about 400 runs for South Africa we can then allow South Africa to bat for four sessions. But for that we need at least 350 or 400 odd runs,” Shami said in the press conference.
Can South Africa repeat Day 3’s super show? Although India and M Shami came up with flying colours at the end of Day 3’s play, the hosts completely dominated the first session, picking 7 wickets for just 55 runs. Lungi Ngidi & Kagiso Rabada were at their best in the morning session and Dean Elgar & Co will be eying to repeat something similar. However, it has to be seen if the pacers get the same assistance on Day 4 or not.

However, Virat Kohli & Co will also have to consider the weather forecast, especially on the final day. While no rain is forecasted on Day 4, scattered thunderstorms are forecasted on Day 5’s play.
