Delhi Capitals’ pacer Anrich Nortje missed major parts of the IPL 2022 with an injury. He played only 8 matches, but thankfully for South Africa, he is now completely fit and will be raring to showcase his true potential in this series. He will be up against his DC skipper Rishabh Pant, who will have a point to prove himself after a poor IPL 2022 season.
4. Rassie van der Dussen vs Yuzvendra Chahal
IPL 2022 runners-up Rajasthan Royals will not be satisfied with the performances of Rassie van der Dussen, as he scored only 22 runs in the three chances he got. However, it should not be forgotten that he turns into a different beast when playing for South Africa. After a not-so-impressive outing in IPL 2022, Ruturaj Gaikwad can only hope that he gets adequate chances in the playing XI. The Chennai Super Kings batter scored 368 runs this season, but if he does get a chance, he could find himself battling against a fellow yellow in Dwaine Pretorius, who did fairly well in the six matches that he played for MS Dhoni’s team.
