Kohli’s post was captained “Happy Birthday Maa” as he could be seen with his mother in a picture that seems to be from their visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar in the past. Virat Kohli continues to be a huge talking point in Indian cricket and concerns remain regarding his injury. Kohli gave the ongoing Wanderers Test a miss, with KL Rahul captaining the side on his behalf for the first time. The Indian captain was seen in the dressing room cheering on his teammates during the IND vs SA 2nd Test, and teammate Cheteshwar Pujara remains optimistic of his chances at playing in Cape Town.
“Officially I cannot reveal anything more but now he (Kohli) is definitely getting better and I feel that he will be fit very soon,” said Pujara during a media interaction.
