IND vs PAK: ODI World Cup 2023 – With hotel prices skyrocketing to around 50,000 per night for epic between India vs Pakistan, ODI World Cup 2023 clash at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, fans have resorted to booking hospital beds instead to watch the match on October 15. According to sources, the hospital authorities have reported a surge in inquiries from fans asking for one- or two-night stays at their facilities.

The package, which includes food, also allows one person to stay with one more person accompanying him or her.

“Since it’s a hospital, they are asking for a full-body check-up and an overnight stay so both of their purposes are fulfilled, saving money on lodging and getting their health check done,” Dr. Paras Shah, Director of Sannidhya Multi Speciality Hospital in Bhopal was quoted as saying by Sportstiger.

While the tickets for the epic IND vs PAK clash are not yet out, the fans have decided to book hotels. Earlier, InsideSport reported about the fans booking hotels for India matches across 10 venues. However, with huge demand for hotels, fans feel hospital is the most viable option. One of the hospitals have also included a full body check-up package for the customers wishing to stay at their facilities during IND vs PAK match on October 15.

“We too are getting inquiries for 24-48 hours stays in our hospital, particularly around October 15, as we also have a full-body check-up package.” He added, “This is due to the upcoming World Cup India-Pakistan match that is scheduled on October 15. Like at our hospitals, the situation seems the same in other city hospitals too. So, we are thinking about coming out with other health packages,” the Hospital’ medical director, Dr Nikhil Lala said.

India will host ODI World Cup for the first time since co-hosting it in the 2011 edition. India will also play an ODI match against Pakistan at home after 10 years after playing the last one in 2013. The two teams go head-to-head only on Asia Cup and ICC events, and hence fans do not want to miss an opportunity to watch these two teams in action.
