Mohammed Siraj was back at his menacing best as the Indian speedster triggered a collapse in the India vs NewZealand 3rd t20 on Tuesday. Siraj, retained in the playing XI, began with the wicket of newcomer Mark Chapman in the final over of the powerplay. While the Kiwis did get off to a decent start, the 28-year-old was at his economic best giving nothing away to the hosts.

Siraj returned in the 16th over, breaking a fine partnership between Glenn Phillips and Devon Conway. He surprised Phillips with a sharp bouncer with Bhuvneshwar Kumar taking a fine catch. He eventually finished off with a spell of 4/17, having further gotten the better of James Neeshama and Mitchell Santner.
