Virat’s Football session goes viral –
Virat, who is in Leicester preparing for the warm-up clash against Leicestershire Foxes, was seen playing football. Virat was seen working with his feet as he took a different training route.
Virat was joined by Mohammed Shami and Cheteshwar Pujara in the football training. The former India captain was seen carrying a cup of coffee while the ball landed in his feet.
Players taking different training routes-
- Earlier on Monday, Cheteshwar Pujara was seen training with coach Vikram Rathore and working on slip fielding which continued today.
- Pujara who is more used to net sessions with bat was then seen working on the catches as India were struggling in clutching the opportunities in their last England tour.
- Apart from football, Virat also took net sessions with the bat as Mohammed Shami who is seen partnering him in football delivered.
- The Indian team will now be poised to make an impact in the upcoming series as the game against Leicestershire serves a perfect platform to get used to the conditions.

Can Virat Kohli end century drought?-
As things stand, Virat Kohli hasn’t scored a hundred since November 2019 and will try to find his mojo and score a hundred. Virat looked energized and full of confidence as he trained with the team, after returning back to the Indian fold.
Virat was rested for the home series against South Africa and had a poor run in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Virat will now be hoping to make a good impact on the Indian team as they prepare for the only Test match.
On the flip side Virat can also reach 2000 Test runs, he is currently on 1960 runs and needs 40 more to reach the landmark against England.
