Sarfaraz Khan made the most of his much awaited Test debut as he slammed a 48-ball half-century on debut on Day 1 of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot.
Coming at number six, Sarfaraz showed nerves of steel as he hit spinner Joe Root and Tom Hartley with ease.
The 22-year-old reached his fifty with a single and joined Hardik Pandya as Indian player to score quickest fifty on Test debut.

Despite losing three wickets in first hour of play, India kept England under the pump on Day 1 of the thurd Test. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant century and was brilliantly supported by Ravindra Jadeja who is nearing century. The duo stitched a solid 204-run partnership before Rohit was dismissed by Mark Wood.
