With India eyeing to set a massive target, Pant blazed through to another half-century in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Edgbaston. Rishabh Pant loves batting in England and he entertained the crowd in Birmingham on Saturday. Walking into bat after the fall of Kl Rahul, Pant set the tone straightaway with a 4 and a 6 off Josh Tongue. He was dropped by Zak Crawley, and survived a couple of close calls early.
The left-hander however then doubled down, stitching a vital 100-run partnership with captain Shubman Gill. He eventually reached his half-century off just 48 balls. He was eventually dismissed for 65 off 58 deliveries, having struck 8 fours and 3 sixes. Pant now has 24 sixes in England, the most by a batter in an away country.
