IND vs ENG 4th Test: Akash Deep redeems himself with three quick dismissals after horror no-ball against Zac Crawley

The India Cricket Team pacer Akash Deep is having a Test debut to remember. The Bengal bowler has dispatched Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope in quick succession to deal a massive blow to the Three Lions. After a horror no-ball, Akash Deep came back strongly to scalp two quick blows. He then went on to scalp Zac Crawley to have a three-wicket haul early in the Test match.

Akash Deep had a grand start when he dispatched Zac Crawley. Only for the sirens to ring indicating a no-ball. But the Bengal bowler was not disheartened. He dispatched Ben Duckett and then scalped Ollie Pope next. In the very next over, he finally he redeemed himself with a beauty of a ball to break the gates of Zac Crawley.

India made a solitary change in their playing XI for the Ranchi Test. Akash Deep got his much awaited debut, replacing Jasprit Bumrah who has been rested. He began his bowling spell early with Siraj leading the early pace charge.

But the debutant didn’t struggle at all. He depicted his class with a sensational ball that sent Crawley’s off stump cartwheeling. But the batter wasn’t dismissed after Akash Deep stepped away from the line by a whisker. In the 10th over, he struck first to dispatch Ben Duckett.

A little nick was enough to send the opener back after Dhruv Jurel took a simple catch. 2 balls later, he dispatched Ollie Pope. The English vice captain departed for a duck after India reviewed from an lbw. Finally in the next over, a big in-swinging delivery went between the gates of Crawley to dispatch the opener.
