A venomous spell from Reece Topley dismissed Indian players involving the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Suryakumar Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Prasidh Krishna thereby completing a wonderful six-wicket haul. These were also the best bowling figures registered by any bowler at the iconic Lord’s stadium. Previously Shaheen Afridi bagged a six-wicket haul, but Topley tops the charts with his magnificent spell.

Quite a few English bowlers have scalped a six-wicket haul in ODIs with the likes of Paul Collingwood and Chris Woakes, however, Topley bettered the stats in comparison with others by giving away fewer runs. Topley also went on to register another milestone by picking the most wickets ever taken in a single innings at the Lord’s by an English bowler.
