How has Moeen Ali shot down Virat Kohli?
A very good player of off-spin, Virat Kohli is difficult to bowl at. In fact, he has an average of over 80 against off-spin in T20Is. Even Ravichandran Ashwin finds it difficult to get him out in IPL and in India nets. However, Moeen Ali has managed to break Kohli’s rhythm numerous times. But how? Let’s check.

On both occasions, Moeen Ali’s idea was clear on how to get Kohli out. Both Chennai and Pune pitches were slow, assisting slow spinners a great deal of help. Kohli had tried to tackle with his cover drives. But it did not work both times.
