IND vs ENG 1st Test: India Cricket Team opt for two-day closed door practice in Hyderabad

The Indian cricket team will undergo a three-day practice session, starting on Sunday, January 21 in Hyderabad.

The Indian cricket have assembled in Hyderabad to begin preparation for the IND vs ENG 1st Test, starting on January 25 in the City of Pearls.

The team will undergo a three-day practice session, starting on Sunday, January 21. However, head coach Rahul Dravid and Co. have opted to keep the first the first two-day sessions behind closed doors.

As earlier reported, Virat Kohli will take a day off on January 22 to attend the Ram temple pran-pratishtha in Ayodhya. However, with several other Indian cricketers also invited to the ceremony, including head coach Rahul Dravid, it would be interesting to see if any practice will be held on Monday.

India and England will play 5-Test matches. The first match will be played in Hyderabad. The action will then shift to Visakhapatnam for the 2nd Test.

The teams will then take a 9-day break before meeting for the 3rd Test in Rajkot. The 4th and 5th Test matches will be played in Ranchi and Dharmsala, respectively.
