In the process, He completed 1500 runs in ODIs and becomes the fastest Indian to have achieved the record. Such has been his consistency, Shreyas now has seven fo+ scores in his last 11 ODI innings. He also went past Shikhar Dhawan to be India’s leading run-getter in 2022.

Shreyas Iyer missed out on India’s last three World Cup campaigns due to injuries and loss of form. However, ahead of the 2023 World Cup at home, Shreyas is not letting any opportunity slip by him.
