Rajkot Weather LIVE: Rain likely to play spoilsport in IND vs AUS 3rd ODI

IND vs AUS, Weather Report: The rain is likely to stay away for the match but cloudy conditions are expected in the 3rd ODI.

Rajkot Weather LIVE: Team India is set to take on Australia in the final match to be played in Rajkot on September 27 (Wednesday). The Men in Blue completed a series win over the Aussies with a thumping 99-run victory in the second ODI in Indore and will take on the visitors in the final game on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the conditions for the match are expected to be cloudy with some chances of rain in the evening.

Rajkot Weather Report:

The weather forecast for the 3rd ODI indicates a mostly cloudy day. However, there is rain for the next two days and it is expected to remain dry on the matchday. The maximum temperature is expected to be 34° C, but that is expected to reduce to 25° C at the end of the day’s play. There is only six percent chance for rain on the matchday. So, weather is unlikely to play spoilsport in IND vs AUS 3rd ODI.

Pitch Report:

The pitch in Rajkot is expected to follow the same template as was witnessed in the two ODIs in Mohali and Indore – batting heaven for batters. The ground is bigger than Indore, but the pitch here is an absolute belter for batters. Runs will come thick and fast, as the boundaries are short on either side.

Meanwhile three players including Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur and Shubman Gill will be missing out on being part of the third ODI. According to a report from Cricbuzz, Axar Patel has been ruled out of the Rajkot ODI as he has not recovered completely from the quadriceps strain that he suffered in the Asia Cup 2023. On the other hand, Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur are rested for the final game. Permanent skipper Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli will be returning to the playing XI.
