IND vs AUS Test: Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. are on the verge of getting their first Test win over Australia Women. After holding all the cards on the first two days, India Women continued their dominance over the Aussies on Day 3 as well. The home side will look to wrap things around on the last day of the IND vs AUS Test.

Earlier on Day 3 of the IND vs AUS Test, the Aussies used the short-ball strategy to wrap up India swiftly, scalping five wickets for just 93 runs. The visitors’ aggressive approach paid off, disrupting the Indian batting lineup.

All-rounder Pooja Vastrakar showcased resilience, reaching an impressive 47, but fell victim to Sutherland’s tactics. Deepti Sharma emerged as the top-scorer with a commendable 78, steering India to a total of 406 with a substantial first-innings lead of 187 runs.

Coning out to bat in the second innings, the visitors showed good fight. The likes of Beth Mooney (33 runs), Phoebe Litchfield (18 runs), Ellyse Perry (45 runs), and skipper Alyssa Healy got starts with the bat but none of them managed to convert it to a big score. However, Tahlia McGrath (73 runs) played a gutsy knock before being scalped by opposition skipper Harmanpreet Kaur.

For India Women, Sneh Rana and skipper spun the web around the Aussie batters. Both of them scalped two wickets each On the other hand, Beth Mooney got run out as Australia Women posted 233/5 (Lead by 46 runs) at Stumps on Day 3.
