IND vs AUS: Netizens vote for Kishan, Dravid, and Rohit to take a call after practice sessions with Kishan and Bharat

Journalist Vimal Kumar uploaded a video on his YouTube channel and fans voted in favor of Kishan. The southpaw is yet to make his Test debut, but fans feel he will bring in the X factor and left-hand batting angle in India’s top-heavy right-hand batting order.

One of the fans wrote, “Ishan Kishan should play it will strengthen the batting of India, and keeping also is good for Kishan.”

Another user wrote, “Ishan Kishan is a head-to-head replacement for Pant. Kishan can also win matches for India as Pant.”

Speaking about Dravid and Rohit, they will conduct yet another practice session on Monday and take a call on Kishan or Bharat. As of now, both wicketkeepers are in with a 50% chance of playing.

For the unversed, Kishan is yet to make his Test debut. He was drafted into the team as a backup wicketkeeper to Bharat in India WTC Final squad. Kishan is an aggressive batter like Pant and likes to take on opponents.

The Southpaw has played 48 Frist Class matches, scoring 2985 runs at an average of 38.96. The 23-year-old is also coming off a good IPL 2023 season for MI, scoring over 300 runs.

Meanwhile, Bharat has played four Tests for India during Border Gavaskar Trophy. The 28-year-old did not grab his chances with both hands as he scored only 101 runs in six innings, failing to score a single fifty.

Bharat also dropped a few easy chances behind the stumps. While Dinesh Karthik and Shastri have backed Bharat to keep wickets to his experience, Ponting feels Kishan will add an X factor to the playing XI.
