The arrival of a baby girl though has come as a breath of fresh air for the Yadav family. The pacer is back with the Indian team after a small break and is playing the fourth Test in Ahmedabad. For the unversed, Umesh Yadav played the third Test as India decided to rest Shami. Yadav had a great outing with the ball in hand as he picked up three wickets. In the process, the right-arm pacer also took 100 wickets in India y dismissing Mitchell Starc. However, since Yadav is away, Shami is likely to play Ahmedabad Test. Although spin has had a major say in the Border Gavaskar Trophy so far, India are unlikely to play the fourth spinner in Kuldeep Yadav.
India are currently leading the series 2-1. The Rohits Sharma-led side needs to win the fourth Test to seal WTC final spot. After the loss in the Indore Test, India are eyeing a series win in Ahmedabad.

India lost the third Test against Australia at Indore due to poor batting. The Indian think-tank may decide to improve their batting for the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which starts in Ahmedabad on Thursday, with an eye on the WTC Final spot. Thus, Ishan Kishan, who kept wickets in the first three Tests, might take KS Bharat’s place in the playing XI.
