The IND vs AFG T20I series is just a few days away. India will look to make their last three T20 internationals before the T20 World Cup 2024 count, as Afghanistan will be in the hunt for an upset. Ahead of the series, broadcaster Jio Cinema has released a poster of the series which has garnered a lot of interest from cricket fans all over the world.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s return to India’s T20 side after a hiatus of 14 months mark the IND vs AFG T20I series. There were a lot of speculation regarding Rohit and Kohli’s return to the India’s T20 side with only a few months left for the T20 World Cup. However, both seniors returned to the T20 side with Rohit captaining the team. Rohit’s return reflected on Jio Cinema’s poster too, with Jio Cinema replacing Shubman Gill with Rohit in the poster.

Even though Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan is in doubt to play in any of the matches in the series despite being named in squad, he featured in the poster beside Rohit. Rashid is nursing a back injury and is scheduled to go under the knife during the series.

Logically, Afghanistan captain Ibrahim Zadran should have been placed in the poster with Rohit, but presumably Jio Cinema went for a more well-known cricketer for its poster.
