The IND vs AFG T20 series is starting on January 11. Ahead of the 3-match series, Afghanistan’s stand-in skipper Ibrahim Zadran and current skipper Rashid Khan have given their fans an insight into the team’s ongoing preparation.
Currently, Afghanistan is in Mohali, preparing for the IND vs AFG 1st T20I at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium.
Although Afghanistan has named Rashid Khan in their squad for the IND vs AFG T20 series, the chances of him actually playing are very bleak. Rashid had a lower back surgery a couple of months ago and is still recovering from it.
With the chances of him missing out, young wicketkeeper batter Ibrahim Zadran has been named as the stand-in skipper for the three-match series.
