Bumrah was adjudged player of the match
Playing his first game after a long haul, Bumrah was adjudged player of the match for his lethal bowling performance. He scalped two wickets and gave just 24 runs in his four over quota. The skipper was also adjudged as player of the match for his bowling antics.

Barry McCarthy put in an astonishing performance at number 8 finishing with an unbeaten 51, the highest score by a batter at that number against India. His innings prompted Ireland out of danger to finish at 139/7 in the end.
