This closing ceremony is a follow-up to an enthralling opening on July 12, where before the first game of the tournament between England and Sri Lanka, the cast of the hit West End and Broadway production of Wicked brought the magic of musical theatre to the cricket field, kicking off the tournament in spectacular and unprecedented fashion.
Talking about the T20 World Cup final, Australia are aiming to lift their 7th trophy and have remained unbeaten in the tournament so far. The side has defeated SAW, BANW, NEDW, PAKW, INDW and BANW (in the semi-final) to make it to the final staying undefeated. Hosts England have also stayed unbeaten in the tournament so far, and face a sole roadblock in the form of SAW in their bid to secure their 2nd trophy.
