The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is all set to be the biggest edition in the tournament’s history. Hosted by England and Wales (ECB) from June 12 to July 5, the marquee event will feature 12 teams for the very first time, with a total of 33 matches scheduled across 24 days.
Defending champions New Zealand will begin their title defence in a highly competitive field that includes traditional heavyweights like current W-ODI champions India, Australia, England, and South Africa, while the Netherlands are set to make their tournament debut.
The competition will begin with hosts England taking on Sri Lanka at Edgbaston, while the grand final will be played at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The semi-finals are scheduled at The Oval. With a record prize pool of USD 8.76 million and matches spread across seven major venues in England, the tournament will be an iconic one for sure.
