ICC T20I Rankings: Hardik Pandya dethroned from top spot among allrounders, Ruturaj Gaikwad breaks into top 10

Travis Head from Australia remained the number 1 T20I batter in the world after dethroning Suryakumar Yadav during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies.

Following his incredible 77* off 47 balls in the second T20I against Zimbabwe, Ruturaj Gaikwad leapt 13 spots to break into the Top 10 in the latest ICC T20I batting rankings. He ranks 7th in the batters’ list. Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma entered the top 100 after winning Player of the Match award in the same match. Hardik Pandya, however, was dethroned from the number 1 spot in allrounders rankings, with Wanindu Hasaranga occupying the number 1 position.

Suryakumar Yadav trails Travis Head

Travis Head from Australia remained the number 1 T20I batter in the world after dethroning Suryakumar Yadav during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies. Head ranks first on the list with 844 rating points, while Suryakumar comes in second with 821 rating points.

Hardik Pandya dethroned

Wanindu Hasaranga surpassed Hardik Pandya to take the No. 1 spot among the top-ranked allrounders in the game’s shortest format. Hasaranga, the captain of Sri Lanka in the T20Is, leads the field with 222 rating points, followed by Hardik, the vice-captain of India, who has 213 points.

Ruturaj Gaikwad among Top 10 batter in T20Is

Ruturaj Gaikwad has accumulated 662 rating points, placing him in seventh place currently. After being dismissed cheaply for just seven off nine balls in the opening game of the series, he was unable to help India reach the target of 116 runs.

Meanwhile Abhishek Sharma, who scored a magnificent century in the IND vs ZIM 2nd T20I, became the latest Indian batter to break into the top 100 in T20Is.
