I have nothing to lose: Arshdeep Singh ready for Chinnaswamy challenge in IND vs AFG 3rd T20I

Ahead of IND vs AFG 3rd T20I, Arshdeep Singh said that the pressure will be on the batters to score boundaries on a flat deck at Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Young Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh said that he has nothing to lose at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday in IND vs AFG 3rd T20I.

Notably, the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is renowned for being a challenging venue for bowlers due to its flat pitch and smaller boundaries.

However, Arshdeep said that the pressure will be on the batters to score boundaries which will give him an opportunity to get wickets.

“As a bowler, I feel we have nothing to lose here [at the Chinnaswamy],” Arshdeep said in the pre-match press conference.

“The batsmen are under pressure, they feel that they have to score more and more boundaries and that is where as a bowler you are in the game and can get wickets. You are always in the game where the wicket is flat and the boundaries are short. There are more options for getting a batsman’s wicket, so you are always on your toes”, the youngster said.

The Punjab-born bowler was the pick of the bowlers for Team India in second T20I in Indore. Arshdeep bagged a 3-wicket haul to help restrict the visitors to 172 on a flat deck.

Team India is leading the three-match series by 2-0 and will look to complete a whitewash on Wednesday.
