According to sources, the teams of Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru pay 20- 25 thousand rupees to the cheerleaders for a match. Whereas KKR pays a amount of Rs 24 thousand per match to their cheering team. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals all pay around Rs 12 thousand per match to the cheerleaders.
They earn extra money as well!
Apart from their IPL salary, cheerleaders also receive a bonus if their team wins. They also have photoshoot contracts, which help them earn a hefty sum during the IPL.
